Wu Ren Chun capsules


          Liver is important organ of metabolism of human body. It does the functions of nullifying and discharging materials which are harmful to the body. If hepatitis, cirrhosis, hepatic cancer occur, the normal functions of the liver will be effected which leads to the disorder of metabolism. The symptoms are tiredness, poor appetite, tympanites in the epigastrium and in some cases, jaundice and fever


          Wu ren chun is the latest result in recent years in the research of medicines for hepatitis. It is specified for its efficiency or decreasing excessive glutamic pyruvic transaminase in the serum (SGPT), stability in therapy. Low rate of recurrence, safety in administration and negligible side effects. It is suitable for acute and chronic hepatitis. In medical fields in China through eight years of clinical observations wu ren chun was administrated to all types of hepatic patients in 420 cases. The general percentage of efficacy is 80.71%. It is also of great efficacy to prolonged hepatitis, chronic hepatitis, acute hepatitis, jaundice hepatitis, virus hepatitis and cirrhosis of liver at early stage
          Wu ren chun is prepared from wurenchun chinensis, gyrophora and salvia. Its merits are well acknowledged by the medical profession. It decreases the pathological change of hepatical cell by adjusting the metabolism of hepatic cell material and protecting adenocyte and lysozyme had promoting the normalcy of SGPT. Gyrophora and salvia are active in promoting the function of the liver and kidney, accelerating the recovery of pathological change of hepatic tissue, preventing fat pathological change of hepatic cell, promoting the functions of liver and metabolism of protein. It is also active in promoting pigment. Salvia has the action of expending vasodilation, decreasing the pressure of vena portal so as to improve the blood circulation of liver and increase the provision of nutrition and oxygen to hepatic cell. It is also active in decreasing the proliferation of connective tissue of liver. Wu ren chun is indeed a very satisfactory remedy for hepatic patients

Composition
Ginseng radix extract, notoginseng radix extract, salviae miltiorrhizae radix

Indication
For the treatment of acute chronic and prolonged hepatitis and cirrhosis of liver at early stage. It is also indicated in diseases from the presence of excessive glutamic pyruvic transaminase in the serum caused by other diseases (including other types of liver disease) or resulting from the administration of other drugs such as antituberculosis agents

Dosage
Adults 3 times daily, 2-3 capsules each time
Children 3 times daily, 1-2 capsules each time
After hepatic function has become normal, it is advisable to continue administration of the drug so as to consolidate the therapeutic effect, but the dosage may be reduced
